Report

This weeks notes start off with a very big thank you

After reading the Club notes two weeks ago and learning of the vandalism to our change rooms and, the theft of our medical equipment. Our head trainer was presented with an unsolicited  financial donation from the Farrow Family. On behalf of the Club and Committee we thank Jamie and Mandy for their generous support. This along with a heavily discounted re-supply from our Medical suppliers OzTape just goes to show Support for our National game at the grass roots level is alive and well.

John Whishaw, the man who’s business publishes this record, has also chimed in to assist the Eagles and has arranged for a bulk Medical pack along with 3 Back Pack first aid packs for the club. As soon as I am aware of the suppliers names I will promote them in our Club Report.

Now onto footy.

The Colts hit the day off with a 115 point win thanks to Jabba Nillson kicking 10 goals. We thought he was going to have to get treated for leather poisoning. This team are coming together quite nicely with Chappy, Flynny and Faz giving the team lots of drive.

Our Ressies didn’t get the result they wanted, going down by 36 points but the mosquito Brigade of Dillon, Williams and Herlihy worked hard all day. It looks like Josh Dillon may have taken over the mantel of the most blood noses from Tim Castle.

Acker’s boys put up a great last quarter fight, kicking 6 goals in what was less than ideal conditions but they still missed out on the premiership points by 24 points. Wombat, Bents and God’s kept the scoreboard ticking over whilst Mowser, Triff and Speedy worked hard all day. Another Standout performance in the Ruck by Mowser.

This week will be a big test for all three divisions on our home ground on what should be a great day of footy.
